The lowest elevation in Colorado is 3,315 ft above sea level. A huge percentage of the state is over a mile high, although Denver is the only part of the state famous for it. The state’s average elevation is nearly 7,000 feet. People live their every day lives at this altitude, and don’t think much of it. Farms and Ranches are prevalent throughout rural Colorado. This one struck me as particularly beautiful.
